Standard or exclusive license

1. 1In Sell, the wizard's first step is License type: Standard license (sell it as many times as you like and it stays in the catalogue) or Exclusive license (it sells once, leaves the marketplace and you undertake not to sell, license or publish it again on any other platform).
2. 2You set the price either way. An exclusive usually carries a higher price, because its buyer keeps the sale exclusivity and you give up every later sale: set a price that makes up for the sales you are giving up.
3. 3The rest of the wizard is identical. If you chose exclusive, the file step and the summary on the right remind you before you press Publish template.

• It is reserved. Once someone else's purchase is on record, everyone else is told it is unavailable: the same exclusive cannot be charged twice.
• It leaves the marketplace. The first acquisition deactivates it: a paid purchase. From then on it is neither listed nor purchasable.
• It is never listed again. And even if you reactivated it from your panel, anyone trying to buy it would get an «unavailable»: that template already has its buyer. Outside Bernuvia the undertaking is yours: not to sell, license or publish it again on any other platform or channel.
• You see it deactivated. It shows in My templates with the inactive chip. Your sale, your payout and the release of the payment follow the usual path.
• Your buyer keeps everything: their download and their 24 hours dispute window, just like in any sale.

The usage rights are the same in both modes: your buyer gets the license from clause 17 of the Terms, perpetual and worldwide, to use and modify the code, with no resale and no republishing of the template as such. What exclusivity adds is the sale exclusivity: nobody else will buy it on Bernuvia, and you undertake not to sell, license or publish it again on any other platform.
