Change your username
Your @handle is changed from your profile, with live availability and a cap of 3 changes per month.
Changing it
- 1In your profile, Account card, Username row, click Change.
- 2Type the new one: as you type you'll see live whether it's Available or Already taken.
- 3Click Save. The @ sign is added for you.
The rules
- From 3 to 20 characters: only lowercase letters, numbers and underscores.
- It must be unique across the whole platform; some names are reserved (admin, soporte, bernuvia…).
- At most 3 changes every 30 days.
- Your real name is not editable (the card marks it as «Read only»).
When you change it, your old handle becomes free instantly: old links to your public profile will stop pointing to you and someone else could take that name. If you shared your referral link with the old handle, share the new one again.
