Your money in escrow: to be released and frozen
Where to see what's waiting out its window, what's held by a dispute, and when each one is released.
To be released (in escrow)
Every paid sale is protected in the escrow contract during the buyer's window (24 hours). You can see the sum of those nets in three places: the In escrow (to be released) KPI in My sales, the In escrow card on your dashboard and the To be released (in escrow) card in My wallet.
Release is automatic when the window expires (or earlier, if the buyer confirms): minutes after expiry the money moves to your Available balance and we notify you by email. You don't have to do anything.
Frozen by a dispute
If a buyer opens a dispute, the net of that sale shows in the Frozen by dispute card in My wallet — separate from the «to be released». That money exists, but it stays held in the escrow until the verdict: no one, not even Bernuvia, can move it anywhere else. In addition, your dashboard shows a red alert with the number of sales in dispute.
