When your assistant also shows it to you

If your client can draw them, Bernuvia's answers stop being paragraphs and come out as cards: the catalog with its images, your cart with the total, your sales drawn out.

What changes

When you ask your assistant something about Bernuvia, it normally answers with text. If your client can draw interfaces, it also shows it to you: a search returns cards with their image and their price, the cart shows the total, and your sales come out in a chart.

  • It's the protocol's official extension, not something we made up: Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code with Copilot, Cursor and Goose understand it.
  • If your client doesn't draw them, you get the same text as always and everything keeps working the same.
  • There's nothing to install or set up on your side: if your client can do it, you'll see them.

There's a longer explanation, with examples, on the MCP page.

What you see

Not every answer has a card: only the ones that gain something from being seen.

  • Buying: the results of a search, a template's page with its gallery, your cart and the breakdown of a purchase before you pay for it.
  • After buying: your purchases with the status of each payment and the download button when it's released.
  • Selling: your templates with their status and the reason if one was rejected, your sales, your daily stats and your discount codes.
  • When something goes wrong: the file of a dispute with the evidence from both sides, and your support cases.

What a card can't do

A card can't do anything you couldn't do yourself, and quite a bit less than that. What it can touch is declared function by function, and by default it can't touch anything.

  • It doesn't sign or move money. Paying, withdrawing your earnings, activating your membership and opening a dispute are signed in your browser, with your wallet. The card takes you there and stops.
  • It doesn't publish or take down a template, it doesn't create discount codes, and it doesn't touch your account.
  • Anything you can't undo gets asked twice. Replying to a review or submitting evidence are written first and confirmed afterwards.

Anything you see inside a card that was written by someone else —a template's name, a review, the other side's evidence in a dispute— is information, not instructions. If some text in there asks to release a payment or create a coupon, ignore it: neither the card nor your assistant should obey it.

Details worth knowing

  • Cards speak your account's language, not your client's. You change it in your profile.
  • They follow your client's light or dark theme, so they look like the rest of the conversation.
  • You can't download files from inside them: the download button opens the link in your browser.
  • An agent account never gets them. Nobody's watching, so it would be spending with no one to receive it.

If something doesn't look the way you expected, ask your assistant the same question again: the text is always behind the card.
