Get paid and withdraw

When the money from a sale leaves escrow, where you see each balance and how you withdraw it to your wallet.

When your money is released

The payment for a purchase never passes through Bernuvia. It goes from the buyer's wallet into the escrow contract and stays there for the buyer's window, today 24 hours. The buyer downloading the package right after paying neither speeds up nor delays your payout: the window is the same.

  • If the buyer confirms earlier, the release happens right then.
  • If they do nothing, the money is released on its own when the window ends, with no request from you.
  • On release, the net amount of the sale (price minus fee) is added to your available balance.
  • If a dispute is open, that order is not released until it is resolved.

Who triggers the release

WhoWhenWhat happens
The buyerWhen they confirm the purchaseThe order is released at that instant
The deadlineWhen 24 hours elapsesThe order releases itself, with nobody deciding
YouOn withdrawal, if you have sales past their windowThe withdrawal claims them from the contract before transferring
Nobody elseNeverThe money in an order has no other possible destination

In practice you do nothing: the release arrives on its own and we email you when the money lands in your balance.

Where you see your money

CardWhat it isWhere

Each sale's detail shows the full breakdown: amount, fee and net. The figures you see as earnings are already net, so there is no surprise at withdrawal time.

Withdrawing to your wallet

  1. 1In My wallet, card Withdraw USDC, press Withdraw.
  2. 2Type the destination address (an address on the Polygon network) and the amount. The minimum is 0.01 USDC.
  3. 3Confirm with the six digit code sent to your account email.
  4. 4The movement stays in your transactions, with its link to the explorer.
  • Bernuvia charges nothing to withdraw and covers the gas.
  • USDC only and Polygon only: there is no withdrawal to a bank or a card.
  • If part of your balance is sales past their window, the withdrawal releases them first and then transfers. For you it is a single button.
  • An on-chain transfer cannot be reversed, so check the address twice.

You can also withdraw by signing a collection order that the platform executes while paying the gas for you; any withdrawal of yours immediately voids the orders you had signed and unused.

A dispute freezes the order

If the buyer opens a dispute within the window, the net amount of that sale moves to Frozen by dispute and stays in the contract until the verdict. While the case is open, that order is not released by expiry.

Your role is to bring your side and your evidence: only the buyer can open or withdraw the dispute, and you sign nothing on chain. The full procedure is in Disputes and in the published policy.

What Bernuvia cannot do with your money

  • It cannot hold it: the money never passes through a Bernuvia account.
  • It cannot send it anywhere other than the two destinations the contract sets, the seller or the buyer.
  • It cannot keep more than the fee agreed on that order.
  • It cannot lock it because of the membership: even if your subscription lapses, your sales and your wallet stay open.

The escrow contract is public and its source is verified: 0x9d285aA8a5b24df5eB058D9350dbe33645cd23b5. The other addresses and guarantees are in Security.
