Depositing into Bernuvia
Three paths: transfer USDC from another wallet, convert from another crypto, or buy with a card.
Opening the deposit
In My wallet, on the Deposit USDC card, press Deposit (the button is also in the balance chip in the top bar). The «Deposit USDC» modal opens with three tabs — pick yours depending on where the money is coming from:
Option 1 — Transfer USDC (if you already have USDC on Polygon)
- 1Open the Transfer USDC tab (it's the first one). You'll see a QR code, your deposit address and the Copy address button.
- 2From your other wallet or your exchange, send USDC over the Polygon network to that address.
- 3Come back and press I've deposited · refresh balance (during a purchase the balance also refreshes on its own every few seconds).
Send only USDC and only over the Polygon network. Funds sent with another token or over another network may be lost. This option has no conversion cost.
Option 2 — Use crypto (if you have another coin or another network)
- 1Open the Use crypto tab: it's the «Get USDC» widget.
- 2Pick the amount (there are shortcuts for 10, 50, 100 and 150 USDC) and connect the wallet you're going to pay from (MetaMask or practically any other).
- 3Pay with whatever you have — ETH, USDT, wrapped BTC, etc., from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain or Polygon — and the bridge converts it and delivers it as USDC on Polygon straight to your Bernuvia wallet.
The conversion charges around 0.3%. The destination is always your Bernuvia wallet: there's no way to get the address wrong.
Option 3 — Use cash (buy with a card)
- 1Open the Use cash tab: it's buying USDC with a card (debit or credit), through the payment provider.
- 2Pick the amount in dollars (shortcuts for 10, 50, 100 and 150 USD, or type your own) and follow the provider's steps: depending on your country it will offer the right method.
- 3The purchased USDC arrives straight into your Bernuvia wallet on Polygon.
There are no deposits by bank transfer, PayPal or physical cash: the three real paths are transferring USDC, converting from another crypto and buying with a card. During a purchase, if you're short on balance, this same panel appears inside the payment asking you for only the difference.
